Who we are
The Chichester Creative Partnership is an advocate for creativity, with the purpose of bringing more prosperity to Chichester and beyond.
Its principle is that creativity, in all of its expressions*, has the potential to rejuvenate a place. The creative industries are fundamentally important and the purpose of the Partnership is to support them, for their benefit and that of the wider Chichester community.
The Chichester Creative Partnership is a multi-disciplinary organisation that is gradually involving all of the groups and organisations connected to the creative industries in the area, including arts organisations, councils, educational establishments and the creative industries themselves.
There are already globally significant creative industries in the area; including the Chichester Festival Theatre, West Dean College, The Weald and Downland Living Museum, Goodwood, Rolls-Royce and Pallant House, as well as numerous smaller businesses and organisations. We support them by identifying the skills and businesses that would best serve their needs, then work to attract those skills and businesses to the area.
The Partnership helps to provide accessible resources, including incubator space, artists’ studios and educational spaces, and coordinate revenue generating projects where profits can be put back into the creative community in a virtuous circle.

The Chichester Creative Partnership is developing a coherent strategy for how to support the creative industries in the area. Members support each other, working to their strengths, to help Chichester be seen, even more, as an exciting place for creatives, and their supporters, to work, visit and live, with the ultimate ambition of making a more resilient and thriving region.
